Trapping & Vetting
We provide traps and training in order to assist community members to safely trap community cats and we coordinate spay/neuter appointments with one of our veterinarian partners.
Traps for NHS's Community Cat Program
We loan traps to community members who are eligible and able to use Nebraska Humane Society's Community Cat Program to TNVR community cats.
Support for Colony Caretakers
We provide donated food, outdoor cat shelters, and other items to colony caretakers as available to assist them in caring for cat colonies.
Our Mission
Stray to Spay is a 501(c)3 Trap, Neuter, Vaccinate, and Return (TNVR) organization reducing Omaha's stray cat population by humanely trapping, neutering, vaccinating, and then returning those that are feral to their colony and working with adoption rescues to get friendly cats and kittens into their forever homes. We also support colony caretakers by providing food and shelters for their cat colonies.
